The Arc Downriver has made it their mission to “advocate for individuals with developmental disabilities and cognitive impairments — and their families — by promoting choices, creating opportunities and providing support needed to fully participate in the community.” They offer a multitude of resources that support and empower these individuals, such as organizing different sports teams, advocacy events, fundraisers, dances, craft classes, painting classes, and more!
