Imagine a world where all young women were made to feel safe, healthy, and happy. There is nothing more promising than when we do all that we can to improve as many opportunities of our children, especially high-risk girls, because doing so truly ensures a brighter future for all.

Since 1987, Alternatives For Girls (AFG) has been focused on the dream of providing these opportunities to as many young women in our community as possible. This foundation’s mission is to provide shelter, prevent violence and exploitation, and help these girls make safe choices in order to lead healthy lives. AFG is entirely focused on reaching as many young women as possible, as quickly as possible, because doing so is critical for her safety. Many of these girls rely heavily on AFG as their only source of support and guidance.
